The Father Daughter Dance took place on Friday, November 11. This year’s theme was the Wizard of Oz. There were themed drinks, food and great music. The entryway was a yellow brick road. Right outside the gym there were cutouts of Wizard of Oz characters. The movie played on a screen throughout the dance. The fifth through eighth graders all looked very pretty in their dresses.
This year the dance provided neon socks for all the students! This way everyone could have a great time on the dance floor without having to worry about blisters. Fifth grader, Ashley, said, “I thought the socks were a creative idea that brought a fun layer to the dance!”
Another highlight of the night was the photo booth. Girls were able to accessorize with a variety of costume pieces like crowns and wands. After they took their pictures, the pictures were printed and students were able to take them home.
The dance was a huge success! As you can see, all girls had a lot of fun!
