Mrs. Fuller recently moved to Greenwich from Manhattan with her husband and two kids, Fuller, age 3, and Campbell, age 1, while looking for a job. She got a call from a recruiter – someone who helps people find jobs. The recruiter said there was a part-time job at Sacred Heart. Mrs. Fuller has two little kids, so she thought part-time would be good. She loves teaching, and she was first interviewed on phone, then in person. Mrs. Fuller tells us, “I just loved it. With every step I liked it more and more.” Next, she did a practice lesson at Sacred Heart. “Everyone is so nice here. I couldn’t be happier,” Mrs. Fuller says.
Mrs. Fuller has been teaching for 17 years, and loves drama and acting. Her favorite thing about teaching is seeing something “click” in her students. “I love watching you (my students) when something clicks; when they finally understand,” she tells us.
Mrs. Fuller’s favorite place to visit is Westerly, Rhode Island. Her favorite foods are apples, peppermint patties, and chai tea lattes. Though she doesn’t have any pets, her favorite animal is a dog. Her favorite sport is cross-country, and her hobbies are taking long walks in nature, making collages, writing, and calligraphy. Lady in Red is her favorite song, her favorite book is The Venetian’s Wife, and When Harry Met Sally is her favorite movie. Her pet peeve is tardiness, or lateness. Mrs. Fuller’s favorite play is The Caucasian Chalk Circle, which is a play about two mothers. Her favorite actors are Meryl Streep, Amy Adams, and Jeffrey Wright.
